Before you reach the Sam Poh Tong cave, there is another attractive tourist spot which has some ponds that rare creatures living under water.

Visitors can buy bread crumbs and fish food to feed these under water creatures. Some visitors even throw coins into the pond as a belief of good luck, good health and good fortune throughout the year.

In one of these ponds, there live some big fish. The coins did not get to the bottom of the pond but rested on one of the fish’s body.

The water is clear enough to see how big those fish are. I am not sure what species they are so if you have seen them before, please kindly leave some comments.

The other pond next to the big fish has a variety of under water creatures living in it together. There are different types of fish as you can see from the picture below.

When the visitors throw the bread crumbs or the fish food into the pond, everybody will be attracted. They will all enjoy the feast together.

And that of course, including the lonely tortoise.
