The Most Focused Moment 01

This photo was taken using the largest aperture setting at a very close distance. I never expect that the depth of field can be as short as less than 1 cm only. Now the photo proved it.

Few days ago, while I wanted to use up all the batteries’ power so that I can recharged them again, I suddenly have an idea to take these photos. Instead of simply clicking the shutter speed and producing meaningless photos, I can test the limit of my camera, and show SiewPeng the advanced skills of using the camera.

When I look at this photo, it tells me that focus is important. No matter what we are doing, we should focus on the things that we are doing at that moment sharply. We can get the maximum effect by doing something in full swing mode and run it to the max. That is called focused.

Another word for focus is concentration. A lot of time we cannot do even a simple task without concentration, for example filling a cup with water, driving, taking exam, etc. We saw a lot of this scene in movies or dramas, when a person losses his concentration, the water will always overflow from his cup while he is filling the cup with water.

Sometimes I try to make myself focus. For me I think the moment that I can focus the best is while praying. Next, it would be the moment while I practice on Additional Maths 10 years ago. Although I did not get an A1 for Additional Maths in SPM exam, but I will never forget the process. While I was practicing from 8am – 5pm, the time seems had gone in a blink. This is the things that everyone can feel when ones is focused on something and even has loss the focus to the time.

The moment you get focused on something, that’s the moment you loss your focus to the time. When you say either the time flies away very fast, or your day is like years, that is actually your own feeling and not the truth. The time is always gone in a consistent rate, and the missing of your focus on the time make you has such feeling either it become shorter or longer.

Let compare the following 2 pictures, can you see the different?
