Lately, we found a smaller version of something that we need to use every day. It is a T-shirt, in a compressed form! We think it’s a pretty good idea for travelling because it is light and easy to be carried around.

In order to expand the compressed T-shirt, fill a pail of water and soak it in. It will be expanded in a matter of minutes. It is almost like magic. I wonder how they compressed it in the first place and how much it costs if someone were to buy it. We don’t know about the price for this one because it was a gift.

When it is fully expanded, it becomes a normal T-shirt and ready to be hung to dry. Last but not least, it is ready to be worn too! However, if you intend to bring a compressed T-shirt along with you when you go on a holiday, it is suggested that you bring some extra clothings because you need to wait for them to dry before you can wear them! ![]()

haha. cool idea but too much works.
You can get it from Petaling Street, Uptown Shah Alam, or any night market for only RM15-RM25 per shirt.
There even a shirt compressed and squeezed in normal Coke can.
Sirei/rei, thanks for your comments.
Kennhyn, we hope to see your T-shirt design soon.
Jimi, yes. It is more convenient if the T-shirt is wearable without having to be soaked in water for expansion.
Short Talker, thanks for your information.
I wonder if there any chemicals in the shirt to make it shrink?… I got, must wash it completely… else you get shrink also
Swordie, that’s true.
I wonder if the manufacturer shrink it or compress it.
WOW! It is very unique and cute.
Btw, the expanded t-shirt, after it dry. Is it feel like normal t-shirt material?
HoewSiong, yes, it is the same. The label says that it is “100% cotton / baumwolle”.
i’ve seen towels in this form but not t-shirts. it’s interesting though and it’s cooler if after soaking, you don’t have to hang it to dry as in it can be used there and then…
If all of my cloths can be compressed, I can save a lot of space in my luggage when traveling.
