This is a USB sound card. It seems brandless, but it works.
If you have a sound card problem with your existing computer for example, you have a faulty onboard sound device or you have a notebook which replaces the internal sound card is not possible, this type of USB sound card is the easiest solution.
The PnP written on this device (in light blue) means it is Plug and Play. Just insert it into USB port of a PC, under Windows 2k/xp and above, it will be detected and configured automatically.
Next connect mic or headphone or speaker to it. The soundless computer is alive again.
The quality of the sound might not be the best among different brands, but I like its design. The semi-transparent made the internal components visible.
