Last weekend, we bought a bag of raw peanuts with skins (and a bit of soil as well) and we planned to boil the peanuts with their skins together.

May be the hypermarket had kept the peanut for too long, some of the peanuts has rooted.

Each of the peanuts is unique. We cannot find any two with the exact shape and size.

Then came another plan, we planted them in our garden. And before we did that, they all had a photography session with me. This is not the first time I took the photos of peanuts, but this is the first time, I took the peanuts’ photos with roots.

Does it look like a worm? It says, “hello” to you.

The skin was not fully opened, but the root stretched to get out of the shell.

This is the peanut family. They have different shapes and sizes, like in a family there are father, mother, grandparents, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, relatives etc..

This is how they look before I planted them into soil.

Crowded.

Stay tune for their latest update. I will take their photos at different stages. This is a real one, not the virtual farm such as Farmville in Facebook.
