During our trip to KL earlier last month, we noticed that most shopping malls were decorated with Christmas theme.  We could not stop ourselves from taking photos with the decorations like most of the other visitors as well.

The photos above were taken at Sungei Wang Plaza.

The 2 photos below were taken at Mid Valley.

Colin and SiewPeng at KLCC Suria (Twin Tower).

This was also taken at KLCC Suria, near the entrance to the KLCC park.

This tree was covered by golden cards with many wishes.  It was a Christmas tree at the Spring shopping mall, Kuching.

There was a stage with a human-faced-star.

White doves with red umbrellas.  The dove shows peace on Earth and the dove at Christmas symbolizes peace and freedom.

Days later, the shopping malls all around the world are going to remove their decorations, and we have to wait for another year to see different varieties of decorations.

Year by year, the Christmas decorations have become more creative and special.

There was no train which reaches this shopping mall and we have walked for 20 minutes from the nearest train station to this place, just to see the 7 meters tall Christmas tree that was made of  almost 1 million pieces of Lego bricks.

It was raining on the way, and we had only 1 small umbrella for SiewPeng, SiewPeng’s sister and me.  Luckily the rain was not too heavy, and my mobile phone GPS showed the correct direction.  It was an unforgettable walk.

It was a long way for us and finally we reached there.

It was a good time to compare what I saw from the Internet and with my own eyes.

See, not only the tree, but other decorations on the tree were made of Lego bricks as well.

This shopping mall has 2 blocks linked by a bridge.  From outside, it was decorated as well.

Since we were waiting for the rain to stop, we explored more on this small-sized shopping mall.  We visited the bookstore, and I have bought a set of 12 postcards of the painting by Thomas Kinkade.

I took photos where there were Christmas decorations, and I have forgotten which building I took them from.

This was another shorter Christmas tree at this shopping mall.  It looked ordinary but it was fully furnished with a lot of nice and beautiful ornaments.

How can Christmas be complete without the snowman? :)  Therefore, this post is about the snowmen exhibited in the Winter Wonderland.

The snowmen that were exhibited were interesting and decorated colourfully.  The colours on their attires have brought out they joyous feeling of Christmas.

We couldn’t resist to have another picture with these adorable snowmen.  And we took it from another angle.

While the visitors of the Winter Wonderland were having fun, the snowmen were also having some joyful moments of their own.

These were some other snowmen that were exhibited.  They were not that colourful but their attraction was not any less than the colorful ones.

Antarctica on the left and Arctic on the right.  And we went to both on the same night!  Cool! 

Well…one had to be more careful though as some of the display items were quite vulnerable.

This was a snowman with a blue scarf on a sledge with a reindeer.  The snow was so thick that the hooves of the reindeer were buried under the snow!

The snowman on the left lifted up the little penguin.  Interesting!

We were in the ice.

It was snowing.

This was the machine that produced snow.

The Polar bear welcomed us to the Winter Wonderland.

The Yeti or Abominable Snowman also welcomed everyone to the Winter Wonderland!

My brother helped us to take a lot of photos.  Finally, I have finished uploading all the photos.
