I found a round-shaped cloud last week, and immediately something very familiar comes into my mind: - Angry Bird.  It is very extremely popular recently.

I am not really good in drawing (both on paper and in computer).  Just tried it for fun.

I had a graphic tablet years ago which I used it to draw simple things in computer, but now it is not working.  Hmm…  may be I should pick up drawing in computer software again… …

I miss my graphic tablet (which I used it to play games last time :p), although the main feature is the pressure sensitive pen which means I can draw strokes with different pressure like Chinese Calligraphy.

The picture above is drawn using brush tool, has a very “beginner” look.

Last Sunday, we bought a box of coloured pencil for our twin nephew, they enjoy colouring.  When they were guided, they can draw properly, else they just simply draw out of the lines.  We purposely bought one box only, and teach them not to fight with each other for coloured pencils and learn to share.

I mentioned this months ago, and now I have got its pictures.

I was provided with this laptop to do my work.  The “Fn” and “Ctrl” keys are located at the wrong position for me.  Since it is non-standard to the keyboard I usually use, I still always press the wrong key.  Or after I have got used to this keyboard, I press the wrong button on most of other keyboards which have the “Ctrl” button at the corner.

When I am looking for a laptop / notebook, besides the performance and functionality, the first thing I look into its design will be the keyboard layout.

I have been working long hours with this laptop, sometimes when it runs on high processor utilization mode ( eg.  antivirus running, copying files, processing picture files etc.), the hot air will come out from the vent hole.

It is blowing directly to my wrist and forearm.  I have to cover it with something to redirect the hot air.

If you use your laptop occasionally,  you won’t feel it.  But I am working with it for long hours and almost every day.

Another design layout if I were to buy a new laptop would be the USB ports position.  Some laptop really have illogical position of USB port where it blocks the Optical Drive (eg. DVD-RW), and disturbs my mouse movement.

Basically, I do not want anything on the right side, where I want my mouse to move freely.

I bought this set of books last week.  It first attracted me when a friend posted about the discount offer on the facebook (a day before it is advertised!!!  Amazing, how did she know that? I wonder.).

Then, I checked on the books titles and learned that these topics are about human’s life.  These are typical topics (about success, challenge ourselves, our future etc.) and usually can be found on many motivational books (except the last book about awakening).

But what attracted me the most to buy these books is because it is written by the very famous Reverend Xing Yun Da Shi.  I am curious on how motivational books are written from a Buddhist’s point of view.

It comes with a foldable box and small lock and divided into 2 sections.  There are small rings on each section to allow the tray to be pulled out.

After I have decided to buy this set of books, I asked my brother to help me to find it from the newspaper and went to the bookshop on the next day.

There are more than 1000+ articles in 12 books.  Now, I read a few articles every day.  From what I have read on the first quarter of the first book (The Criteria of Success), I found that instead of telling me what to do, it is a reminder that tells me some details in our life which I have already known but easily ignored.

Can’t wait to finish reading all the books.  Hope I can finish reading them within this year.

How do you usually sleep on a flight?  This is what SiewPeng and I always do.

Sometimes, we are not head to head but head to shoulder.   We always put the seat’s handle between us in “up right” position so that we can have more space.

I am sure even after we get very old we will do like the old couple in the picture above.

Finally, the Dracaena Surculosa in our garden produced seeds.  It took 2 to 3 months for the whole process started from showing its buds to fully-ripen tiny red fruit.  The green fruit will turn red in a few days.

I have mentioned previously, plants response to weather / climate.  Because I noticed that if one of the plants starts blooming, I can expect that the same kind of plant will be blooming also in local near by area.  Of course some are a bit faster or slower, but they happen almost at the same season and same area.

From the news, I have learned that the production of some vegetables and fruits in Taiwan has been delayed for 1 month and their quantity and quality have been affected as well.  The main reason is the change of the weather.

I have never grown this plant by seeds, because it can be propagated by cutting.  I have collected 5 varieties, and one of them can hardly be propagated by cutting and it also did not flower.
