I have got my new lightbox to shoot product photos. Previously I was using just a piece of cloth and a hand held bulb which is not as easy to use as this lightbox. Now what I have to do is just put the objects into the lightbox, adjust the light and start shooting.

I tried to shoot at different objects, the background is very easy to control. I have got 4 colours now - white, black, blue and red.
The position of the light source is very important as well. I am still learning about studio lighting. If the light sources are placed correctly, it can show the details on the objects with more 3D effects.

These are the details of the seashell.
Another issue is the colour temperature. I found that it is a bit blueish when I first try to shoot into the lightbox, the bulb is 5500k, then I have adjusted the white balance setting in my camera so that the photos look more natural.

This is a typical lighting arrangement, sometimes there can be another extra light from the top as well.
I am going to shoot a lot of things soon inside my lightbox.
