We were standing in front of many different colours and patterns of gingerbread house.

This gingerbread house was decorated with a lot of colourful lights. However, we had to be careful when we wanted to take pictures here as the lights which dangled from the roof of the house might be dangerous.

Here is a close up of the lights decorations of the house.

And this was how the whole gingerbread house looked like.

We went to another one. This one had lights decorations and a snowman.

Its door was slightly opened.

This one had a nice chimney and a Christmas tree.

This one had a penguin.

The whole picture of this gingerbread house.

The Winter Wonderland is part of the Winter Village which requires a small amount of entrance fee. My brother got 5 tickets when he bought a reload coupon for his mobile phone credit on the spot. We spent at least 2 hours inside and took countless of photos.

We are at the entrance of the Winter Wonderland. There were so many people taking pictures. We had to wait for our turn. The yeti is also here for Christmas this year!

This section shows people enjoying themselves playing with a swing.

Watch out! Snow fight!

They have a machine that produces snow, which is cool, but when the particles ‘attack’ your nose, it is quite irritating.

The big smiling yeti.

Penguins.

The exit. To be continued …

We went to the Winter Village Kuching days ago before Christmas on a rainy night.

There were many booths selling things and decorated in Christmas theme.

This is the entrance.

One of the biggest attraction is the 70 feet tall blue-coloured Christmas tree, with a telco logo on its top instead of a star. It is made of 60000 LED according to the coverage in the newspaper.

We like the bubbles underneath the huge Christmas tree.

Next, I will show you the Christmas Wonderland inside this Christmas Village. Stay Tuned!!! ![]()

Today is the Christmas eve, let me share with you a midi which I created about a year ago. The title of this music is “The Guests Are Coming“. Click on the play button above to listen.
Actually I used the melody of a Chinese children song - “KeRenLai” which also means the “guests are coming”. And most importantly, I have added the Christmas elements into the music such as the jingle bells, etc..
I remixed a popular Chinese New Year song in midi about 2 years ago. I am not a professional music maker, but I wish you can give me helpful comments or the Santa Clause can give me some magic power to improve my skills in creating midi.
We wish you a Merry Christmas!!! ![]()

Living in a quiet residential area in the middle of a large city, with polluted water and air. We choose not to get a car because Colin can wake up 30 minutes before office hour, gets ready and walks to his office. We are still looking for natural elements in the concrete jungle ... as a nature-lover couple ... |
